habe mir am montag securebat! pro (mit etoken pro) bestellt !!
Kann man da seine Mails nur mit etoken abholen, wenn der Webserver APOP-5 CRAM unterstützt ??
Ist APOP-5 sinnvoll, weil beim jetzigen Provider okayspace.de gibt es keine APOP-5 unterstützung !! Daher wollte ich mir bei http://www.1st-housing.de einen VirtualServer 1 holen (6,99 € /Monat anstatt 4 €/Monat) und mir da APOP-5 einrichten (bzw. einrichten lassen :D) !!
Ist das sinnvoll ??

Ich sehe du nutz dieses K9 !! Ich habe nun einen Webspaceprovider mit APOP-5 gefunden und werde umziehen.
Funktioniert dieses K9 auch mit APOP-5 oder wie läuft das genau ?? Ist da Bayit! nicht besser (als Plugin) ??

Aus der K9-Beschreibung:
Yes, K9 supports basic MD5 APOP (RFC 1939). To configure K9 for use with APOP you need to enter details of the account(s) in the POP3 Server Check area of the Advanced tab. You do not need to actually enable the account in this section, you simply need to fill in the the regular server name, port, username and password so that K9 will know which password to associate with the provided account details when connecting to the remote server. The username in this section will be you normal username i.e. not the same format as used for K9 in your email program.
Multiple different APOP enabled accounts can be configured by adding more accounts to the Server Check section.

Sagen wir es mal so: Was soll dein Programm können. Der Funktionsumfang ist mit Unterschied auf die Verschlüsselung das Gleiche. Und für die reine Verschlüsselung soviel mehr Geld zahlen.......aber wie gesagt, jeder kann das machen was er will. Ich bräuchte SecureBat! nicht.
